1) Drop the Aquafur disc into a liner or deco
pot |
|
2) Add about 8 - 16 oz. of water |
|
3) Drop in your plant*
*The Aquafur will work best if the plant is
pushed into the Aquafur disc slightly to seat it. This helps
the holes at the bottom of the grow pot to make contact with
the Aquafur disc.
|
|
4) Initially your plant will go about a week between
watering. Monitor the condition of the plant and the soil to
to determine when to add more water.
|
When it's time to water again just add about 8 -
16 oz. of water to the disc. Adding water between the grow pot and
liner works
best.
Plants can be top watered instead - allowing the excess water to
drain into the Aquafur.
The Aquafur transfers water into the plant very
efficiently so the disc will dry before your plant needs water.
This drying prevents the gnat problems associated with other sub
irrigation methods.
